Tim's 40th Birthday Bash

Tim is bound and determined to welcome the big 4-0 with open arms and a great big shindig. Firstly, we'll be joining the Shovelheads RC for a ride to the Halftime Bar & Grill in Vancouver. After that, 
we'll head on to... well... wherever .... we're still trying to find someone who will give up their 
home for the evening and host the party. Tim will happily provide the keg(s). This will probably be 
a potluck. Tim requires no gifts (although he does appreciate a good card :) but your presence will 
mean the world to him on this very special day, even if you just pop in and say "hi." So, Save the 
date! Cancel all plans! Request the day off from work! Find a babysitter for the kids!

Run 21

Celebrating their 12th annual gathering, Run 21 is hosted by the SE Chapter of ABATE Oregon. Run 21 
features live entertainment, vendors, games, shows, contests, and much more. The event is limited to 
only 2100 people and cost is $50 (per ride?) in advanced or $60 at the gate. No one under 21 is allowed 
at this event.

Flying Pie Pizzeria

Suggested by Hugh, Flying Pie Pizzeria is homemade pizza at its best. HOWEVER, The Academy is a movie 
theater located right next door - in which  Flying Pie supplies the pizza to the theater. For this ride, 
we'll play it by ear. If there is a decent movie playing, it is very possible that we may take a visit to 
The Academy, if not, we'll eat at the Flying Pie. Kids welcome!

Jumbo's Toy Run

This event benefits needy children of local area schools, participants either donate $10 or one toy. In 
return, the riders get a parade down Commerce and 12th Ave. and finish up at the Moose Lodge where food, 
beer, and prizes are given away. The event is held yearly on the Sunday after Thanksgiving in memory of 
Jim "Jumbo" DeMakos.
